• Motor winding protection features "zig-zag" varnish on the armature and hardened powder on the field coils to act as an impenetrable barrier to dust and debris
• Rotatable gear housing can be positioned at every 90^o for optimal positioning
• Removable 90^o side handle can be mounted on left or right side of tool
• Use with optional Makita 4-1/2” Clip-On COW Guard (part no. 199709-0) during cutting applications
• Use with optional Dust Cover Screens (part no. 199514-5)
